Hi Rick,

The newest Timely build lets you retroactively clock out your last time record if you forget.

Editing and inserting complete time records in the past is no fun and isn't on the Timely roadmap. It's infinitely faster with pencil and paper than any UI could be.

Yes…the ability to edit time cards would be perfect. My company "allows" us to punch in 7 minutes before our start time, but we can also punch out 7 minutes before the end of our shift. To be able to manually edit our start and stop time would be a huge help.

i really like what this app could become. i love the rolling dollar amount. i feel that it needs the ability to manually enter start and end times or at least to manually edit them. less important could be the tweeking of overtime. ex. i earn overtime both after 8h a day and 40h a week. in most weeks it would not matter but if i missed a day then it would still be accurate. with those additions this app would be perfect for me. i think it would be a great mix of style and function

Hey Jonathan,

At the moment it doesn't. I'm continually reviewing ways to improve my apps, and thanks for your suggestion.

<a href="#comment-445" rel="nofollow">@David</a>

Hey Chris,

I e-mailed you some instructions to install the Timely beta. Basically you just drag it to iTunes and sync.

If that's too difficult, I'd recommend that you wait for the next stable release. Beta software can be unstable and buggy, and waiting for the next stable build might be a better fit.

Hope that helps,

Drew

Thank you for allowing me to be a beta-tester. But I have only one problem. Yuu've sent me an update. But how do I get it on my Itouch? Normally I just download updates from iTunes. But what you've sent me apparently goes in another way.
I'm going to need some instruction to get the update/beta test files onto my iTouch.
Help me please.

The first thing I noted was the inability to edit time punches. The second is, unless I'm mistaken, one can not set a work week or time period for salary set-up. I think this would be an important feature. to be able set up your time periods per weekly, bi-weeks, or monthly time periods.
Also the ability to export this data to a speadsheet or some other format (email?) in csv or something like that for accounting purposes.

Because I can not edit the time (at least) I have not used your program and am passively looking for another in order to record my pay. I would rather use yours because I like the way it is set-up, but if a newer version is not forthcoming soon I may be forced to reluctantly look elsewhere. Thank you for your time.
