I think what we are seeing is more of the transition of Apple away from computing company to ubiquitous computing company.

I am not thrilled with any of the designs of the iWatch (call it whatever you want.) It will be interesting to see what fashionistas wear it. For my money it is still too bulky, too gaudy, and just provides little value as yet. It needs to be a true standalone device and elegant elegant elegant.

Sitting on $160B they should have partnered with Rolex, or Tag Heuer and paid James Bond’s franchise for a 007 short in which he wears one, nonchalantly, doesn’t even use it really. Just goes about his James Bonding while wearing one.

Now, if they want to tap the college market, the device needs:
